The International Brazilian Opera Company (IBOC) is Brazilian in spirit and
International in practice. We believe in the transformative power of embracing
and exploring differences across cultural borders. We initiate and develop
contemporary operatic repertoire and artistic exchange; in this process, we are
establishing international working relationships, new stories and techniques.
IBOC initiates and incubates new music and stories in opera by providing composers a platform for development and promotion. IBOC audiences and supporters accompany us in all stages of development, from our workshop concerts to our final staged productions. We like to say, “We do it together”. Repertoire is also available for commission, co-production and rental.
